Alayson hired me all the way from Portland to help style and cater her little sister’s bridal shower here in Illinois. Alayson and the other bridesmaids asked me to execute their collective vision: a vintage travel, adventure concept for Amber’s May 3rd shower in Homer Glen.
Amber and her fiance, David, love to travel together and the notion that Marriage is a Journey { Not a Destination } was so inspiring: A little English Patient, a smidgen of Roman Holiday and a bit of Before Sunrise (I tend to pull my inspiration from my love of film), this shower looked and felt as beautiful as I had hoped it would…
It always helps when your new clients have amazing taste and pitch-in to help! They were a delightful family to assist and I hope they have a wonderful time at the upcoming June wedding. All the best to the beautiful couple! { Le meilleur! }

That looks amazing. You did a great job planning.

She did! A true professional who thought of everything and didn’t miss a beat. The event was at my home, and our guests actually thought Patty was a family member/guest at the event! Would recommend her without reservation and hope to use her again.

Where did you get the postcards from?

I’m sorry, Kristen, I just now saw your comment. I made the postcards. I used vintage postcard graphics and then purchased textured, aged card stock to print them on. Cut accordingly. 🙂
