In-home senior care
The Housing Bureau for Seniors works throughout Washtenaw County to enable and assist older adults with seeking and maintaining appropriate and affordable living arrangements. The HBS is a place where people, 55 and older, can find answers to questions about housing and care options for themselves and for aging friends, parents, and other relatives. We provide community support for seniors and caregivers seeking advice or information on planning ahead, making transitions or handling a crisis. We can put you in touch with a comprehensive network of programs and services so that you can obtain the help you need. We understand that the multitude of housing and health care options available to seniors can be confusing and overwhelming. What assistance do you qualify for? How much will it cost to stay in your home?
Home Instead Senior Care began from personal experience. It was Paul Hogan's own family experience caring for his grandmother that made him realize the need for elder home care services to help seniors live independently at home. Home Instead offers free monthly newsletters with tips and advice for caregivers of elderly loved ones. Each Home Instead Senior Care franchise is independently owned and operated.
For most PACE participants enrollees , the comprehensive service package permits them to continue living at home while receiving services rather than being institutionalized. Participants must meet the following criteria:. The PACE organization will assist a person in applying for Medicaid and with initial asset and income assessments. The PACE organization will also help the person obtain required information and verification. An interdisciplinary team, consisting of professional and paraprofessional staff, assesses the participants' needs, develops care plans and delivers all services, including acute care services, hospital services and if necessary nursing facility services.
Welcome to Presbyterian Villages of Michigan!
Many seniors will reach a point where they need some extra support to help them stay living at home. Maybe they need some financial support because they are having trouble making ends meet. Or maybe they need help at home with some of those day-to-day activities that they can no longer do for themselves. Maybe driving is no longer an option and they need help finding transportation.
